Proficient in their approach to the finer aspects of tennis and trained to meet the physical, mental or psychological requirements of the trainee, these special tennis teachers are an enthusiastic team committed to giving their best back to the game. The Founder, Sunil, believes in teaching the children from the grassroots of the sport.

ACHIEVEMENTS

The students of Star Tennis Academy have received many titles at tournaments at D.Y. Patel (Nerul), The Sports Gurukul and Acres Club. Many students that undergo training here have excelled and reached great heights:

  1. Kashish Bote – No. 2 MSLTA Ranking (U-14) : Winner at All India Championship Series in the category of U-14 girls, Winner at U16 Inter school Tennis tournament (Acers club), Winner of U-14 DSO Mumbai city , October 2017. Will be representing Maharashtra.
  2. Ayush Hingelkar – No. 17 MSLTA Ranking (U-12) : Winner at Acres club & Kalina University. 2nd place in DSO U-17 Boys, October 2017.
  3. Shivam Kadam – No. 19 MSLTA (U-12) : Winner at Acres club & Kalina University, Runner up at MSSA in the U14 category and 3rd place at Don Bosco’s Matunga.
  4. Ayush Hindlekar & Shivam Kadam have won District Sports Office (DSO) in the U-14 category for Mumbai city, Will be representing Maharastra.
  5. Pari Chavan Runner up in MSSA in the U-12 category.
  6. DBHS Matunga Brought Home the Jesal Niranjan Ganjawalla Trophy for the best all round Boys School in Sports for a record 15th time since its inception in the academic year 1998-99 by the MSSA.
