Yudansha Kobujitsu Karate Doh Federation (India) i.e. Y.K.K.F. (India) has been established in the year 1997 and has trained thousands of students in Traditional Okinawa GojuRyu Karate & Judo/Jujitsu. Y.K.K.F. (India) teaches three different aspects of martial arts namely physical, intellectual and mental. Along with the physical training we also teach history of GojuRyu awareness of other martial arts and Japanese terminology.
Sensei Jehangir Shroff is the President & Chief instructor for Y.K.K.F. (India) and is the only Indian representative for Y.K.K.F. (International). He has been in the field of martial arts for over 35 years. He has had the experience of training in various forms of martial arts under the guidance of Saiko Shihan Ron Yamanaka (Founder of Y.K.K.F. – International) 9th Degree Black Belt – Shaolin Chuan Fa, 8th Degree Black Belt Okinawan GojuRyu (Judokan), MenkyoKaidenShindoRyu Jujutsu & Canadian Chief Instructor (Shibucho) of Okinawan GojuRyu (Judokan).
Under Shihan Shroff’s guidance, Martial Arts Training Programme, the first and one of its kind in India was organized, where notable international Masters imparted training , with participation from all the 22 affiliated countries in the world. More than 10 international masters along with their 50 students in addition to over 500 Indian students participated in this symposium.
Y.K.K.F. is involved in many social activities. The organisation imparted free training to orphan girls of the Bombay Vigilance Association. “Balikashram” at Dadar and provided self-defence training sessions karate training and martial arts demonstrations to ladies in police force, to female taxi drivers and so on.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Y.K.K.F. India, under the guidance of Sensei Jehangir Shroff, organized a Martial Arts Training Programme, the first and the only kind of an event in India, where International Masters of the highest rank and repute had imparted training in Karate, Jujitsu, Aiki Jujitsu, Shaolin Kung Fu & Kubudo, wherein all the 22 affiliated countries in the world had participated.
